Children are baptised to show that they belong to the Christian family, the Church. Baptism is a sign that someone belongs to Christ, which is why it is sometimes called “Christ-ening“.
This can often be the start of a child's Christian journey. The service can be held during a normal Sunday Service or at another time. It is often a time of celebration for a family and friends.
All Saints Church has a beautiful Font, which is the oldest part of the Church.
If you are interested in a Baptism Service please contact the office on 07378 415166
